What is Xamo?
Use AI on confidential work without handing it over.
If you handle client contracts, unreleased work, financial records or anything under NDA, pasting it into a chatbot is a risk. Enterprise tools solve that, but they come with an IT team and a procurement process. Xamo is for everyone who has neither.
Chat with a local model, add documents to a project, and get answers with sources. If you send a message to a cloud model, Xamo first lists exactly what will go. Your Vault documents are never included.

Your privacy
Everything is stored in an encrypted database on your computer, and chat works offline. Nothing leaves unless you send it.

A local model by default. Every reply names the model that wrote it. You can also talk to it. Voice runs on your device, in English for now.

Limits today
A preview
Runs on Apple Silicon Macs for now. No streaming replies, agents or tools yet. Voice is English only. No mobile app and no plain-text export. The local model is small, so hard questions sometimes call for the cloud option.
Optional hardware
Xamo Core
A small reference device that runs models for you, if you would rather not use your laptop. It is a waitlist, not a preorder. ASUS GX10 is an independent referral.
